To ensure the campaign was unique in every way, we aligned the on-the-ground activation with the brand’s new TV AD. Promoters dressed as sexy traffic officers holding up stop signs written “no one can resist” they took over the SA’s major city intersections (JHB, DBN, CPT) for 6 weeks? We aimed for high traffic, snacking occasions & redesigned the sampling game by creating cute boxes which ignited consumer curiosity, resulting in increased trial & sales.

We populated the venues with branding, product placement and brought the brand personality to life prior and during the Good Sundae parties. We ensured party goers were never hungry by ensuring there were stacks of Doritos chips on each table. Doritos engaged consumers by creating different mechanism at each event where consumers stood a chance to win premium prizes from top twitters at each party. Our fabulous and vibrant activators engaged with consumers, inviting them to share their Doritos experience on DoritosSA social media platforms, results were so remarkable the client received unbelievable talkability.
Using the brief as inspiration we crafted the PPC Ride to Rio campaign idea, captivating consumers by placing a branded mobile bar where consumers could enjoy a colorful cocktail outside various venues stores. There were various games, music and prizes which brought Brazil to life at each venue, providing consumers with a taste of what they stand to experience should they win.
PPC Cement gave away tickets to lucky consumers for the world cup in Brazil.
In an attempt for Doritos to be recognized as a party snack, the brand went into Partnership with Good Sundae, by sponsoring 12 Good Sundae events. The brand wanted to activate and maximize this sponsorship platform to remain relevant to the ‘party-goers’ within the secondary main market.
We populated the venues with Mentos branding, product sampling and brought the brand personality to life prior and during the weekend hangout. We engaged consumers by creating different engaging mechanism at each event where consumers stood a chance to win instant prizes by popping a ballon at each venue.
